Privacy Policy

When you use KlikJobs we collect:

• Account info: email, password hash, account type (seeker or employer), plan.
• Resume content: the file you upload plus parsed structured fields (skills, roles, experience).
• Profile and preferences: target role, location, work-type, salary expectations, anything you fill in.
• Usage events: which jobs you view, save, like, skip, or apply to. Used to improve matching.
• Billing data: when paid plans are available, payments are handled by a third-party Merchant-of-Record payment processor. We never see or store your card number.
• Operational logs: IP address (hashed for rate-limiting), user agent, request timing. Truncated email in error logs only.

• Match you to relevant jobs and explain why each match was surfaced.
• Generate résumé suggestions and feedback based on your target role.
• Send transactional email (account, billing, parse-complete) and product email you've opted into.
• Bill you correctly for paid plans and detect abuse / fraud.

We use AI in two narrow places: parsing your uploaded résumé into structured fields (skills, roles, experience), and writing the short explanation of why a job was surfaced to you.

Job ranking does not make hiring decisions and is not a model trained on historical hiring data. Matches are recommendations shown to you, the job seeker — KlikJobs does not screen candidates on behalf of employers.

Before any résumé text is processed by AI we redact email, phone, and URLs. Your data is not used to train any model. You can delete your résumé and the derived match data at any time (see section 5).

We don't sell your data. We share with subprocessors only as needed to run the service:

• Email delivery: a third-party service sends transactional and product email.
• Payments: when paid plans are available, a third-party Merchant-of-Record payment processor handles billing.
• File storage: your résumé file is stored with a third-party object-storage provider, accessed only via short-lived signed URLs (15-min TTL).
• AI processing: a third-party AI provider parses your résumé and writes match explanations. We sanitize and redact PII (email, phone, URLs) before sending.
• Error monitoring: a third-party error-tracking service; emails, phones, résumé text, and secrets are scrubbed before any event is transmitted.
• AI observability: a third-party service records model latency and token counts only — prompt and completion text are masked and never sent.
• Hosting: a third-party platform provides application and database hosting.

You can delete your résumé from your profile at any time. The uploaded file, parsed text, and derived match data are removed promptly.

You can delete your account from the account page. Deletion is processed promptly: your records are removed and audit log entries are anonymized rather than deleted (we keep the action shape, not the actor). Cancellation is only possible by contacting support before the request is processed.

We set one cookie: the auth session cookie. No tracking pixels, no third-party analytics, no advertising cookies.

• Access: you can view your data on your profile and account pages.
• Correction: edit profile fields directly.
• Deletion: see section 5.
• Export: email us and we'll provide a JSON export within 30 days.
